A reliable 209Wh / 8.7Ah battery with an average range 10-15 miles (max 20 miles)* per charge, the Apollo Phaze Electric Bike 2021 is a great entry level e-MTB for those leisurely trail rides. Battery recharge time is between 4-5 hours.
Choosing an electric bike can be a daunting prospect and the safety around electric bike batteries is often at the forefront of peoples minds.
Range*:
All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:
• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
• Tyre pressure.
• Wind speed and direction.
NB. In the UK you must be over 14 years old to ride an electric bike but you won’t need a licence, nor do you need to register it or pay vehicle tax.
Sensor:
The system is equipped with a Speed sensor, which automatically turns the motor on once you begin pedalling and off when you stop pedalling.
This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
You may enter this competition up to 500 times.
You will be randomly allocated your ticket number(s) when ordering and you will receive an email confirmation.
The total amount of tickets for this competition is (1600).
If all tickets do not sell out, the draw will happen on October 15, 2023 regardless.
